Yes. Every script from Spotlight Scripts requires a Performance Licence in order to be staged to an audience. This ensures our writers are fairly supported while giving you the legal permission to perform the show with your school, church, or group. The licence is simple, affordable, and usually included with your purchase for multiple performances.
If you would also like to record or stream your production, you’ll need an additional Recording or Streaming Licence. These can be arranged easily by contacting us at hello@spotlightscripts.com.
No problem! Many schools and churches can’t purchase online in the same way individuals do. If you need to order by invoice or purchase order, simply email us at hello@spotlightscripts.com with your request. We’ll send the scripts and supporting materials directly and provide an invoice that your school can pay in the normal way.
Yes. You can make small adjustments (like cutting lines, changing names, or staging tweaks) to fit your group. For major changes (adding scenes, altering the storyline, or combining plays), please contact us to approve adjustments under your licence
Many scripts come with original songs, lyrics, and backing tracks ready to use in rehearsals and performances. If a script doesn’t include music, we may provide song suggestions or you can use your own choices.
Do you offer translations into other languages?
Yes! We can translate scripts into different languages at no extra cost. Simply email us with your request and we’ll provide the translated version for your production.
